Bootlaw Goes to Boston

Bootlawyers will know that we at Bootlaw we like to keep on top of the latest legal developments in technology law and share them monthly with you.

Last week saw Barry in San Francisco.   This week Barry has fought BA strikes and the Ashcloud to be in Boston at the The ITechLaw 2010 World Technology Law Conference and Annual Meeting.  A meeting which is billed as the place where industry leaders from around the globe discuss the most critical issues in technology law.

We’re pleased to see that many of the topics for discussion are staples for our monthly Bootlaw session with in-depth sessions on cloud computing, enforcement of open source software licenses as well as a look at recent cases including EDS v BSKyB.

Regular Bootlawyers may remember we recently covered the crucial ramifications of the EDS case and the role played by Lulu the dog’s MBA in it for liability limitation clauses earlier this year.

We’ll also be watching carefully for any new developments around the world in Internet law and a look at the semantic web and look forward to sharing this with you.
