Semetric teams up with Pentech to make Music(Metric)

Back in October our long time client, Semetric – the company behind MusicMetric - raised an undisclosed round from Pentech Ventures.  The news broke in December on Techcrunch EU, which is why we’ve been keeping so quiet about it!

We acted on Semetric’s early stage seed funding back in the spring of 2009, so we were particularly pleased to see this start-up develop so positively.  Semetric is a genuine Silicon Roundabout start-up, having been incubated by creative agency, Thin Martian, which is based literally within a stone’s throw of this unlikely London tech landmark, and founded by a team of young entrepreneurs some fresh out of university.

As reported by Techcrunch, Marc Moens, senior partner at Pentech will join the Board of Semetric, while Spencer Hyman, previously COO of Last FM, will join its Advisory Board.
