Exploring the Unethical Social Web
Here at Bootlaw we’ve been long-time supporters of Media140, the company set up by Andrew Gregson to promote discussion and education around the use, and future, of social media, so we’re delighted to be involved in its up-coming event: “Unethical Social Web“, being held at the RSA on Thursday 15 September 2011.
We’ll be looking at the legal aspects of unethical behaviour online, and will be joined by PR and political experts, Claire Wardle and Karin Robinson.
Together, we will be discussing what ethical boundaries brands need to be aware of when running a social media campaign and where journalists need to the draw the line when it comes to reporting and gathering the facts for a story using social media? With examples and guidance, the event will give journalists, brands and marketers insights into this developing area within social technologies.
