Danvers Baillieu

Danvers Baillieu is an associate solicitor at Winston & Strawn in London specialising in representing technology companies. He co-founded Bootlaw in August 2008.
Danvers also has experience in financial services matters, including regulatory matters and U.K. and international transactions. Between 2003 and mid-2007 Danvers was heavily engaged on a high-profile and complex multi-jurisdictional dispute in the telecommunications sector, which regularly took him to the British Virgin Islands and Bermuda for court hearings.
Since 2007, Danvers has increasingly focussed on transactional and advisory matters within the technology sector, working with a number of early stage companies from formation through to investment and beyond.
Before training as a solicitor, Danvers had a sideline in building websites, mainly for aspiring Members of Parliament, and he claims to have build the first political WAP site in the UK (in 2000), of which he was probably the only user.
